New Managing Director for 1-Net Singapore

1-Net Singapore Pte Ltd, Singapore's leading infocomm technology solutions provider and a wholly-owned subsidiary of MediaCorp Technologies, has appointed a new Managing Director, Mr Yow Tau Keon. Its former Managing Director, Mr Mock Pak Lam, remains as one of the appointed Directors of 1-Net.

A 24-year technology veteran, Tau Keon started his career with Hewlett-Packard (HP) and handled several portfolios including R&D and global factory marketing.  He joined SingTel after 13 years in HP to manage a 600-strong commercial team. Before joining 1-Net, Tau Keon was with Exploit Technologies in A*Star helping to commercialise the intellectual properties generated by the R&D institutions in Singapore.

MediaCorp Technologies Managing Director Mr Mock Pak Lum said, "The company is posting good revenues and profits on the back of strong data centre growth.  Tau Keon has a wealth of senior management experience coupled with a deep understanding of this industry.  I have excellent faith that Tau Keon will bring the company to the next lap."
